PACKAGING DESIGN

I designed limited-edition whisky packaging concepts for The Macallan, one of the world’s most prestigious single malt whisky brands. Each concept explored a distinct chapter of Macallan’s heritage, translating craftsmanship and storytelling into luxury spirits packaging design.

The first concept celebrates Macallan’s legacy of oak barrel aging, focusing on the wood itself as the source of the whisky’s depth, character, and flavor. The second concept draws inspiration from Macallan’s use of sherry-seasoned barrels from Jerez, Spain—a region renowned not only for sherry production but also as the birthplace of Flamenco. According to legend, these barrels impart more than flavor, carrying with them the passion, rhythm, and spirit of Flamenco, which influenced the visual direction of the packaging.

Together, the concepts showcase a premium whisky packaging design that blends cultural narrative, heritage, and craftsmanship—created to captivate collectors, elevate shelf presence, and honor Macallan’s storied legacy.
