Adjunct Professor FIT Packaging Design

I am delighted to announce that I have recently joined the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) as an Adjunct Professor of Packaging Design. FIT is a renowned institution that has been offering high-quality education in the fashion industry for over 75 years. It is an honor to be part of the FIT community, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with the students.

As an Adjunct Professor of Packaging Design for Cosmetics and Fragrance, I will be teaching students about the importance of packaging design in the beauty industry. Packaging design plays a vital role in building a brand's presence, creating a connection with consumers, and differentiating products from competitors. The course will cover a broad range of topics including branding, materials, sustainability, typography, graphic layout, printing techniques, launch strategies and more.

My experience in packaging design spans over a decade, during which I have worked with numerous clients from different industries, including fashion, beauty, wine/spirits and food. Through my work, I have gained valuable insights into the packaging design process and the importance of collaboration with clients, suppliers, and manufacturers.

One of the key goals of the course is to teach students the importance of sustainability in packaging design. With the increasing awareness of environmental issues, it is essential for designers to create packaging that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also eco-friendly. Students will learn about sustainable materials, the circular economy, and how to reduce packaging waste.

I am excited to work with the students at FIT and share my passion for packaging design. I believe that this course will equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the industry and make a positive impact on the environment. I look forward to a successful semester ahead and to helping students develop their skills and creativity in packaging design.
